The Village Shops
Who doesn’t like shopping? I love shopping, especially on country music-related items. At Country to Country one of my favorite areas it the town square. Looking around the shops. Enjoying a Southern Comfort and Coke, or having some food from the stands while listening to some exceptional talent on the Town Square Stage.
When the festival map was released I was quite excited to see this area marked on the map. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t meet expectations. The Village Shops area consisted of 3 stalls and an area promoting the British Country Music Awards. It was a lackluster attempt. Maybe they wanted it to be bigger but couldn’t get people to commit with it being the first year? Either way, this is something that needs to either be improved on or scrapped altogether next year. So it gets a down.
